Welcome to TeachersTV a multimedia resource containing videos and audio related to education in Ireland. Teacher's TV is a free service to the education community managed by Digilogue. Digilogue has a range of projects for schools such as the Scoilpac and is technical partner for many education partner organisations such as INTO, IPPN, LDS, PDST, and various education centres and schools nationwide.

Why Teacher's TV?

Many excellent resources from Youtube, TeacherTube, etc. had been inaccessible (pre-2011) from within the school network (as enforced by  the Schools Broadband Network - SBN). Since then, NCTE have updated filtering options and schools can now opt for a range of filters suitable for their school's needs, some of which allow youtube etc.. TeachersTV provides a service whereby teachers can publish learning resources, irrespective of filtering levels. Unlike Youtube etc., Teacher's TV will only contain videos related to education and in the interests of child protection the site is fully moderated, i.e. we ensure that no video is published unless it has been individually reviewed and found to be educationally relevant.

Can I Participate?

Yes! We welcome teachers and indeed the public to participate by adding videos and audio that they think would be of help to other educators. Simply sign up, and go to the video upload page. There, you can upload your own videos or you can reference videos from Youtube, TeacherTube, Google Video etc.. We will review your submission and with owner permission, republish these videos to teacherstv.ie
